Hi, my name is Lena. I am a contemporary dance artist and a researcher: I teach, create, dance, and write. As a teacher, I work mostly with kids. As an artist, I am mostly interested in interdisciplinary approaches and in participating as a dancer in such projects. As a researcher, I write not only about contemporary dance and ballet but also about musical theater and art in general.
I have enrolled in the MA CoDE, HfMDK since April 2023. In the future I would like to continue conquering my personal highest grounds to grow as a teacher, as an artist, and as a researcher.

My movement experience began in sports. I did rhythmic gymnastics as a child and was quite successful as an athlete. At 14 I started to dance. My movement history includes ballet, folk and variety dance, ballroom dance, character dance, jazz, and contemporary dance. Now I am also a dance critic, learning human sciences, arts, music, and dance theory. I work as a dance teacher with kids and continue to develop myself as an artist.
